PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

1988 to Present

Vocational Expert/Career Counselor: Vocational evaluation of an individual’s ability and opportunity to work, earning capacity and/or assessment of lost wages relevant to marital dissolution, personal injury and employment law case matters. Provide career assessment and planning for people engaged in a divorce and to determine employment opportunities, and/or the need for further education to enhance earning potential. Assist career seekers, laid-off or underemployed individuals with job seeking, job search and employment development.

1985 to 1987

Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor: Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor assisting injured workers determine appropriate occupational goals to facilitate their return to suitable gainful employment. Performed vocational evaluations, loss of earning capacity evaluations, job development, and labor market research.

1983 to 1984

Job Placement Coordinator: Goodwill Industries of the Redwood Empire. Provided employment development; job seeking and job search training. Development of On-the-Job Training (OJT) contracts with employers to facilitate the employment of low income and disabled individuals.

1981 to 1982

Job Placement Consultant: California Department of Rehabilitation. Evaluated and counseled disabled clients in job seeking, job search and employment development strategies to assist in locating gainful employment.

1979 to 1980

Program Director: Petaluma Human Services Center. Hired and supervised a staff of six; recruited and administered a youth employment program for sixty participants. Provided job placement services and maintained relationships with private and public sector employers and social service agencies.
